Summer Camp Details at Little Monkeys Childcare and Play Centre

From July 1st 2024 to Aug 30th 2024.

CAMP HOURS:

The camp operates from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additionally, there is an optional After Camp session available from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you drop off your children before 7:50 a.m., an extra fee of $5 will apply. Similarly, if you wish for your child to stay after 4:00 p.m., there will be an additional charge of $5 per half hour until 5:30 p.m. Children have the flexibility to arrive anytime between 7:50 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., after which the programming will commence. If your child will be arriving late, kindly inform our staff or coordinator.

CAMP FEE:

$259+HST per week.

$55+HST per Day.

Early Bird: $249+HST per week

Optional Food Plan:

$60+HST per week or $12+HST per day.

Discounts:

Little Monkeys Members:

10% discount on the summer camp fee.

Extended Registration:

10% discount for those registering their children for four weeks or more.

Optional Food Plan:

WHAT CAMPERS WILL NEED

Campers should bring the following to camp everyday:
⦁ Nut, Tree nut and sesame free lunch (if not purchasing lunch from Monkey Around) – Please note that Monkey Around has a strict NO NUT, NO SESAME policy due anaphylaxis of children in our care.
⦁ All lunches will be inspected daily when campers arrive.
⦁ Water bottle
⦁ Hat
⦁ Sunscreen
⦁ Bug Spray (optional)
⦁ Change of clothes
⦁ Socks to play in the play centre
⦁ Swimsuit and towel
⦁ Helmets for roller skating (if child is allowed to skate and permission has been signed)

Please ensure to label your child’s items with their name.
Note: Little Monkeys Childcare and Play Centre is not responsible for lost articles.

Consent Forms & Program Statements

Camp programs will be divided into age groups as much as possible. Due to operational needs, some age groups may be amalgamated.
All campers are required to wear sunscreen when playing outside; parents / guardians are required to provide sunscreen. Children who arrive to camp without sunscreen will use sunscreen from our camp supplies.
All campers will be going outside each day to take walks in the neighborhood and/or visit nearby parks.
Should an incident occur, your child will be transported to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (C.H.E.O.) 401 Smyth Road accompanied by a Little Monkeys Childcare and Play Centre employee.
Parents / Guardians are required to read the Parent Handbook and respect / follow the Centre Guidelines and Policies.

Payment Information

A deposit of 50% of the total is due at time of registration. The balance owed for a given week is to be paid prior to the first day the child attends camp that week.

If registering for the full 9 weeks, a deposit of 25% of the total is due at time of registration. The balance owed for a given week is to be paid prior to the first day the child attends camp that week.

Failure to make necessary payments may result in child(ren) not being able to attend camp the following week.

Cancellation Policy

All Paymrnts received will be refunded in the event the cancellation is more than two weeks prior to the start of the camp. 50% of the Payments received will be refunded in the event the cancellation is between one and two weeks prior to the start of the camp. A refund will not be issued if the cancellation is less than one week prior to the start of the camp.
